All these continues are members of OPEC, who all have one main goal when it comes to their Petroleum.

Well, in general, it is for all of these countries to make agreements with one another in order to determine what the best prices and policies are when it comes to the Petroleum that is derived from these companies.

OPEC views this as a way to keep gas prices stable, without fluctuating too much.

However, there are some things to know about the countries who export Petroleum and how the system works.

OPEC is more or less in control over gas prices. Once the decide to cut their supply, the amount of gas that is in demand goes up- which also means that prices go up as well.

While the countries who export Petroleum may mean well, many people believe that OPEC needs to change their policies in order to ensure that gas will be at an all time low price.
